Nursing Assistant Certification training is provided for individuals who are hired to work for Willow Valley Retirement Communities as a nursing assistant but are not already certified. The training is the first 3 weeks of employment. Willow Valley will pay for the training, the state test and will also pay the trainee $8.50/hr while being trained. Upon taking and passing the state test and receiving the state certification, the hourly rate of pay will increase to $10.50/hr plus $1/hr shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shifts.
