Robert Rush - Willow Valley Management, Inc., Director, Human Resources

Bob has spent over 36 years as a human resources professional (nine of these spent in healthcare/long-term care). He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Franklin & Marshall College and a Master of Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College. Bob also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Residents of Willow Valley Retirement Communities benefit from his abilities to recruit and develop exceptional staff members.
It comes as no surprise that his favorite thing about Willow Valley is the people. "They're friendly, fantastic, diverse, and sometimes goofy!" he notes.
Bob and his Team strive to hire only those who share the retirement community's focus on excellence, whether their role will be as a Member of dining services, a groundskeeper or a Member of our skilled and compassionate nursing Team.
In his free time, Bob dedicates his energies to several faith-based organizations, including Gideons International and the Faith-Reformed Presbyterian Church. He shares his professional skills with the Lancaster County Human Relations Commission and the Strasburg Township Zoning Board. Bob also acts as Secretary to the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center Practical Nursing Program Advisory Board and serves as a member of the Highmark BlueShield Advisory Board.
