Dining Services Training and Development Supervisor
Melissa Peifer teaches Willow Valley Retirement Communities’ Dining Staff methods to enhance the exceptional customer service provided to Residents. She advances new Team Member’s success by presenting valuable departmental orientations for the Dining Services Staff. Melissa oversees the Customer Service training of Team Leaders and Team Members which includes a presentation on Willow Valley Service Standards and dining experience expectations. She provides support to Team Members and Team Leaders so they develop their talents and leadership abilities.

“I love the positive energy during a busy night when every Team Member is on their game.” And with over 20 years experience at Willow Valley Retirement Communities, Melissa knows how to build a talented team that will create an exceptional dining experience. This Dining Services Training and Development Supervisor has a Bachelors degree in Dietetics, but she credits her Willow Valley Retirement Communities’ experience for teaching her the most.
In her spare time this proud parent enjoys watching her three sons play sports and perform in school musical groups. And the apple hasn’t fallen too far from the tree since Melissa also shares her musical talent as a singer and pianist at her church.
