I came here because...
Jerry Zacharias came here because: "After visiting Lancaster my wife said, 'I could settle here' and I said 'so could I'…my son said 'you should take a look at Willow Valley' Retirement Communities…and when we did, we were sold from the first look".
Jerry, a former Class of '52 Annapolis Naval Academy graduate, was impressed by the lower costs of living and attractive tax benefits Pennsylvania has to offer to seniors. "When I finally moved in, I said, this is such a great deal compared to the prices in Virginia and Maryland…I'm going to tell all my friends about it". Ultimately Jerry was able to reconnect with 11 of his former Naval Academy graduates who also moved to Willow Valley.
Jerry encourages all residents of Maryland and Virginia to check out the wide array of benefits of living at Willow Valley. "You don't have to sell people on Willow Valley..you have to get them up here to look at it but once they are here, Willow Valley sells itself"
