At Willow Valley Retirement Communities, Lifecare is more than the assurance of a full continuum of high quality care, including Personal Care, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Support, provided at no additional expense should the need arise. Lifecare is designed to free your mind from worry about rising costs associated with long-term care and maintaining a home, so you can simply enjoy life.

At the very heart of the carefree and appealing lifestyle available at Willow Valley Retirement Communities is a unique program called Lifecare – and it is the number one reason our residents choose to live in one of our beautiful communities.
Lifecare is a plan that eases life’s stressors by systematically addressing future financial liability relative to long-term care expenses and offering a full continuum of Supportive Living services – from independent living to skilled nursing support. Simply put, Lifecare functions as an unconditional long-term care policy wrapped in a healthy and fulfilling resort lifestyle – so that our residents can enjoy this chapter of their lives in an inspiring and supportive environment free from worrying about future escalating long-term care expenses.
How does Lifecare work?
Residents 60 years of age or older join the community as active, independent adults. (A sentiment we hear very frequently from residents is, “I wish I would have moved here ten years ago.”)
Residents select a home or apartment of their choice to lease for the remainder of their lives, selecting from a full range of options including more than 80 floor plans.
Residents pay a one- time entrance fee and an ongoing monthly service fee. The fee varies based on the residence and amenities selected. A Lifecare Agreement assures that the monthly service fee does not increase, even as a result of needing a higher level of care, whether temporary or long term. This crucial assurance provides financial peace of mind and predictability of costs.
What does the monthly service fee include?
The monthly service fee includes 24/7 emergency response from on-site nursing staff, interior and exterior maintenance, utilities (excluding cable, internet, and phone), scheduled transportation, property taxes, recreational and cultural activities, and in many cases, two professionally prepared meals per day.
What else should I know?
